Hate Borders? Then Tear Down Your Wall

”So if you do win an award tonight, don’t use it as a platform to make a political speech. You’re in no position to lecture the public about anything. You know nothing about the real world. Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg.

So if you win, come up, accept your little award, thank your agent and your God, and —- off, OK?”

Ricky Gervais (Golden Globes 2020Β )

This year’s Grammy Awardsβ€”held just a couple weeks ago on February 1, 2026β€”were more about ICE, borders, and “illegals” than actual music. But this isn’t a surprise. We’ve seen the entire Grammys dedicated to George Floyd before. Because the modern entertainment industry is more about sending woke messages to society than entertainment. The significant downgrade of the movie and music industries is something we should focus on in a different article, because that’s a hidden crisis of modern civilization. The lack of skills, ideas, and massive decline since 2010β€”especially after 2020β€”is glaring. But this isn’t about that.

The 2026 Grammys were dedicated to attacking border security, ICE, and pushing other propaganda. Billie Eilish wasn’t the only one; Bad Bunny also shouted “ICE out” during his win, and several artists wore pins with the same slogan. But the most highlighted incident was Eilish’s statement during her Song of the Year acceptance for “Wildflower.” She probably thought she dropped the quote of the century, and plenty of people with similar mindsets hailed it as heroic: “As grateful as I feel, I honestly don’t feel like I need to say anything but that no one is illegal on stolen land… And f word ICE.”

And that’s where the real hypocrisy begins to show itself. Back then, even socialists were well-read people. They may have had wrong opinions, but they were analytical and articulate. Modern leftist activism is closer to retardation than Marxist-Leninism. Billie Eilish is a prime example.

Right after her “stolen land” rant, her $3 million Los Angeles mansionβ€”which obviously has walls, gates, and top-tier securityβ€”drew massive attention. That property sits on ancestral land of the Tongva tribe, who confirmed to reporters it’s part of their stolen territory. Indigenous groups and critics demanded she hand it back or at least open it up, since “no one is illegal on stolen land.” Some influencers even tried to camp out or stay a night or two at her place, arguing it’s “our mansion” now, not just hers. Unfortunately, she wasn’t kind or generous enough to give her land to the Tongva or shelter anyone. Her brother Finneas stood by the comments, but Eilish hasn’t addressed the backlash directly.

What they don’t knowβ€”or don’t careβ€”is that this “stolen land” argument isn’t legitimate in the way they pretend. By their own logic, we might as well tell illegal migrants heading to North Africa or the Levant that it’s perfectly okay, because those lands were “stolen” by Arab invaders centuries ago. Almost all lands and nations fall into this “stolen” bracket if you go back far enoughβ€”history is conquest after conquest. The selective outrage only applies when it suits the narrative, not when it exposes the absurdity.

Back to Billie Eilish. Why was she so selfish and rude? If she truly believed her own wordsβ€”that no one is illegal on stolen landβ€”why didn’t she open her gates, tear down her walls, and let people in? Why not lead by example and turn her gated fortress into an open sanctuary for those she claims belong on β€œher” land? Because everyone gets sensible when it comes to their own property. These celebrities never dedicated time or mentioned Laken Riley, the 22-year-old nursing student murdered in February 2024 while jogging on the University of Georgia campus by Jose Antonio Ibarra, a Venezuelan illegal immigrant who entered the U.S. unlawfully and was released after being caught at the border. They never mention victims of cartel violence, which has spiked with record fentanyl overdosesβ€”over 100,000 deaths annually in recent years, much tied to smuggling across the southern border. No one raised security concerns when three former members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)β€”a designated terrorist organizationβ€”were deported in January 2026 after illegally crossing the southern border in 2024 during the Biden administration. Or when concerns mounted about potential October 7-style attackers or other terrorists slipping through, like the Gaza man arrested in 2025 for his role in the 2023 Hamas attacks, who entered the U.S. on a fraudulent visa. No issues when foreign nationals like Mahmoud blocked Jewish students from entering universities in the name of the Palestine movement. Because it never impacts them. Mark Ruffalo never expressed condolences to the thousands killed under Iran’s Mullah regime. Instead, he keeps ranting about a “fake genocide” in Palestine, which has some of the lowest combatant-to-civilian casualty ratios in modern warfare.

Their performative activism is similar to Greta Thunberg. The only difference is they’re part-time actors while Greta’s a full-time actress. At the same time, while rejecting and undermining border security and law enforcement in the country, they’re hiring the best possible security services for themselves. But working-class people can’t afford that. Laken Riley or countless other victims couldn’t.

The pattern repeats across the Atlantic. In a recent video, we saw former German Chancellor Angela Merkel visiting somewhere with her guards, bravely walking the area under full protection. Meanwhile, common people in Germany face more uncertainty and fear on the streets, with rising crimes due to her policies. When she allowed millions of Syrians into Europe without proper background checks or integration processes, leaders like her didn’t care. All the European politicians who allowed it live in safe havens. Celebrities who supported it live in gated communities. While working-class Europeans deal with rising crimes and the collapse of welfare systems.

According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection data, in FY 2025, there were thousands of arrests of criminal noncitizens, including over 1,000 for homicide and manslaughter, and tens of thousands for drug trafficking and illegal re-entryβ€”many tied to illegal border crossers. DHS reported that 70% of ICE arrests in 2025 were of illegal aliens convicted or charged with crimes in the U.S. Yet studies from groups like the American Immigration Council argue immigrant crime rates are lower overall, but that doesn’t erase the real victims or the hypocrisy.

The hypocrisy of these elite classes is ignorant and disgusting. If you hate borders so much, start by tearing down your own walls. Or else stop messing with common people’s lives by compromising borders, law, and order with your anarchy ideas.

Watching something like the 2013 movie The Purge play out in real life might be “fun” entertainment for the elitesβ€”where the government effectively allows crime and chaos for a period, leaving the vulnerable to suffer while the protected hide behind their systemsβ€”but it’s not a game for the rest of us. This isn’t your Hunger Games, filling subways and streets with risks and letting civilians bear the brunt while you live in safe havens.
